The US-Mid-East Performing Arts Council is introducing for the first time in the history of music, PETER & THE WOLF, in a high quality bilingual book (Arabic & English), accompanied by an audio recording of the orchestral work. The Arabic narration is rendered by Nazih Girgis, founder of US-Mid-East Performing Arts Council, who, in 1990, introduced the world premiere of PETER & THE WOLF in Arabic, at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington. The English narration is by Anisa Mehdi, a New Jersey Network (NJN) State of the Arts correspondent. Illustrations by Madeleine Toth.
