Ralph Conte was one of the original early Bombardier-Navigators assigned to the 416th Bomb Group. He completed 65 combat missions as a leader of formations, boxes, and flights. Following his service, he graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He and his wife, Norma, have two children, Rafe and Janis. After his retirement from a career in management in the Water Pollution Control Industries, he served as talk show host for a local radio station, taught at Weatherford College, and served for eight years as councilman in Mineral Wells, Texas.
