The White House: An Historic Guide features extensively illustrated room-by-room descriptions of the decor and furnishings of the White House accompanied by historical text. Now in its 22nd edition, this guide to the contents, architecture, and history of the President's House contains many new photographs of the State Floor, Family Quarters, and West Wing, as well as detailed descriptions of the fine arts collection displayed in the rooms. The first guidebook was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1962.
