Anthracite Classics

This book recently won a 2002 Franklin Award from the Graphic Arts Association for outstanding print quality! This beautiful all-color book "Anthracite Classics" was published by The Railroad Press in July 2001. It covers the PRR, RDG, LV and CNJ, mostly in the early 1950's to the mid-60's. Pennsylvania Railroad steam is in abundance in Enola and Northumberland in the early 1950's. Reading steam and early diesels are shown, along with early diesels of the Lehigh Valley and Central RR of New Jersey.
