Diane Thiel's Echolocations received the 13th Annual Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize (2000). Her work appears in Poetry, The Hudson Review, Best American Poetry 1999, and Beacon Best of 2000. She has received numerous awards including the Robert Frost Award and the Robinson Jeffers Award. She received her BA and MFA from Brown University and has taught creative writing for twelve years.
