Vincent A. Langelo served four years on the USS Boise (CL-47), first as a radioman and then as a radio technician. He graduated from the National Radio Institute, 1939; U.S. Naval Radio Materiel School, Naval Research Labs, 1945; Brown University (ScBEE), 1950; and University of Pennsylvania (MSEE), 1964. For nineteen years Langelo worked in the defense industries as a design and development engineer of radar transmitters for Raytheon, Radio Corporation of America, and the U.S. Naval Electronics Systems Command. He is a life senior member of IEEE, Inc., and has had an amateur radio license (W1GDI) since 1939. Now retired, Langelo lives in Mendon, MassachusettsVincent A.
