When Jesus Speaks, I Write

I was born in Savannah Georgia, and educated at schools in Savannah as well.As a child at 12 years old, I began to take care of my family, due to the fact that my mother had a stroke.I have three older brothers and one younger sister. I never had the opportunity to go to college until my adulthood. I thought that I wanted to be a nurse, being that I took care of my mother for many of years before she passed away 3 1/2 years ago.I started writing poetry during the time when my mother was fighting for her life after having her 6th and final stroke.After she passed away I went back to school to become a nurse it wasn't what I thought it would be. Now I'm focusing on my passion, the WORD.
