Like her father, Fletcher was educated at Loyola University Chicago, where she is now an assistant professor in the Department of Communication, teaching journalism. She has a doctorate in English Literature from Northwestern University. Fletcher lives with her husband, Trygve, her daughter, Bridget, and her son, Nick, in Wilmette, Illinois.Fletcher, Connie is the author of 'What Cops Know Cops Talk About What They Do, How They Do It, and What It Does to Them', published 1992 under ISBN 9780671750404 and ISBN 0671750402.
