Coming to Vancouver from a Prairie Farm was a huge change for me. My years of being a farmer's daughter gave me a huge appreciation for books. The few books that were available gave me much pleasure and I always wanted to write. Most of my stories are based on true experiences mostly with my Family and Friends. I love Children and have always worked with them one way or another, so there have been many opportunities for ideas. A great deal of inspiration has come from over twenty years of being with the youngsters in Children's Ministry at my Church.
