Carlo Gola works in the Specialized Intermediaries Supervision Department of the Bank of Italy. He received a degree in Economics from the University of Modena, Italy, and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Oxford, UK. He was awarded a CNR postgraduate scholarship in public finance from Rome University. He was A. C. Jemolo Fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford; UK, from January to March 2008 and is currently Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, London, UK.
