Theory and Practice of Hydrodynamics and Vibration

Subrata Chakrabarti achieved his masters in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Eng. Mechanics from the University of Colorado. He joined Chicago Bridge and Iron Co. in 1968 where he had extensive theoretical and experimental experience in the design and development of offshore structures, and the development of hydrodynamic design tools. He worked as the director of the Marine Research Division of CBI until 1996. He is currently operating the Offshore Structure Analysis, Inc.
