Chapter 1: "The First Five Generation Descended from Charles Dodson, Sr. of Richmond Co., VA." Each of these individuals is assigned a number and there are charts giving a graphic illustration of these five generations. Chapter 2: "Dodson Descendants from the Fifth Generation to the Present", contains descendants from each person in the fifth generation to the extent that information is available. Some of these lineage's have been worked out from census and courthouse records, although much of this material has been donated by Dodson relatives and researchers.
