Brian Laban has been a motoring journalist and author since joining the British Automobile Racing Club as their press officer in the early 1970s. He has worked for several weekly and monthly motoring magazines and written a number of books covering subjects as diverse as Grand Prix racing and American cars of the 1950s, or the MGB and the Lamborghini Countach (the latter in the Supercars series, Salamander, 1989). A fulltime freelance writer, he now contributes to many of the major motoring magazines, including Auto Express, Evo, GT and Purely Porsche.
