Namie are founders of nonprofit organization The Workplace Bullying and Trauma Institute which superseded the original Campaign Against Workplace Bullying established in 1998. She then earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, specializing in chemical dependency treatment services before encountering her bully supervisor. She is the work trauma expert, predicting the effects of unremitting mistreatment on targets and witnesses. The Drs.
