A sixth-generation Texan, June Naylor has written about travel and food since 1984 and is the author of numerous Lone Star guidebooks, including the award-winning Texas: Off the Beaten Path, which has gone into seven editions. She co-wrote The Texas Cowboy Kitchen with celebrated cowboy cook, Grady Spears.
