Texas Dreams

Linda Timian Herring was born in Texas and remains a tried and true Texan. She married a Lutheran minister, had four children, then began teaching. She is very musical, having played the violin, the piano, the guitar, and the organ. She is also a member of the Lutheran Houston Chorale. She began writing in her middle-age years, and sold her first book three weeks after submitting it. Thus began a ministry whereby she could share her down-to-earth faith. She has published seven Christian romances, and is working on more. She and her husband, Mel, have ten grandchildren that they see often. Since moving to Houston several years ago, they are thrilled at being able to participate in the many cultural events that are offered.
