Patricia K. Ladner, after retiring from forty years of nursing in 2005, has served as the Volunteer Coordinator for three Catholic Churches in DeLisle, Mississippi, Katrina Recovery. Following Katrina, she has presented numerous workshops on Infection Control and Dealing with Loss, as well as coordinating the activities of volunteers from many states. She is a former Consultant for Nursing Practice in the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and has taught nursing in diploma and associate degree schools of nursing prior to her retirement.
