A man from a traditional Irish family decides to be a movie star with the help of family and friends he succeeds. He is enamored with the power that seems to accrue with stardom. Weary of this he decides to take advantage of his celebrity and make a career change. Thinking that his starpower status will service him well in politics. It does and he gets elected.
