John Reeves is an award-winning author, composer, and radio producer who lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. He has written poetry, novels, plays, and historical studies, winning in 1959 the Italia Prize for the world's best radio drama. In a long career as a radio producer/broadcaster for the CBC, he aired numerous dramas, documentaries, and music programs, work for which he received the 1973 John Drainie Award for distinguished contribution to broadcasting.
