Spies' Wives CIA Families Abroad

Since the publication of their book, authors Karen Chiao and Mariellen O'Brien have been interviewed for the London Times, the London Daily Telegraph, and have had articles published in numerous newspapers and magazines around the world. They were welcomed to the Princeton University bookstore for a taping on C-Span's BookTV and appeared on CourtTV. Shortly after September 11th, they were invited to the Baltimore Book Festival where many young people in the audience wanted to know how to join the Central Intelligence Agency.Honored to be the keynote speakers for the CIA Retirees' Association this past fall, Chiao and O'Brien are also scheduled to speak at the Virginia Book Festival in Charlottesville and the Hampton Roads Women's Book Festival.
