Social Measurement

Donald T. Campbell spent the major part of his academic career at Northwestern University. Before retiring, he was Professor at Lehigh University. He held teaching positions at Syracuse University, University of Chicago, and Ohio State University. During his career, he also lectured at Oxford, Harvard, and Yale University. He served as president of the American Psychological Association and was a member of the National Academy of Sciences; he received numerous honorary degrees and awards. He wrote more than 234 articles in the areas of social psychology, sociology, anthropology, education, and philosophy, covering a broad scope of topics from social science methodology to philosophy of science. He received his AB and PhD from the University of California at Berkeley. M. Jean Russo is research scientist at the Center for Social Research at Lehigh University.
