Skomer Island: Portrait of an Island

Jane Matthews was born in Bristol in 9172, studied Fine Art at Oxford University and Art History at The Courtauld Institute in London. She was working as an artist in the television and film industry in London when she first went to Skomer for a week as part of the Voluntary Warden Scheme. There she met Juan, the Warden. Jane left London in 2003 and now lives of the island with Juan, their daughter Martha and about half a million seabirds.
