Carol Saline is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster, and public speaker. Among her more than thirty writing and community honors are two Clarion Awards from National Women in Communications, and the National Magazine Award. Her previous books include Straight Talk and Dr. Snow. A senior writer at Philadelphia Magazine and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Syracuse University, she lives with her partner, Paul, in Philadelphia. Sharon J. Wohlmuth is a prizewinning photojournalist who has covered national and international assignments for the Philadelphia Inquirer for over two decades. She shares the Inquirer's Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Three Mile Island nuclear accident, among many other notable photography awards. A coauthor of several books, including Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Collection of Photography, she lives in Philadelphia with her husband.
