Kathryn Lasky is the award-winning author of a wide varity of books for children, including the widely praised The Librarian Who Measured the Earth, and ALA Notable Book. Lunch Bunnies was inspired by her daughter's trepidation over staying at shcool for lunch-and by her own memories of being a first grader and living in dread of "soup days." Ms. Lasky lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband and their children, Max and Meribah.
