Dawn Barnes is a third-degree black belt and the founder of Dawn Barnes Karate Kids, the most successful all-children's karate school in the United States. She has taught martial arts to children for nearly twenty years, and she also writes columns for Martial Arts Professional Magazine and Los Angeles Family Magazine. As well, she is the Director of Children's Education for the National Association of Professional Martial Artists. Dawn lives in Los Angeles, California, with her family and two dogs.
