Thomas Jay Oord is professor of theology and philosophy at Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, Idaho. He is theologian for the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love and serves as academic correspondent and contributing editor for Science and Theology News. As well as being a professor, author, and researcher, he serves his faith tradition as an ordained minister. Oord has written several books, and his essays appear in dozens of journals, magazines, and edited volumes.
