Jude Fisher lives in Cornwall, and works in London. She is a qualified lecturer in English Literature and holds a Master's degree in Old Icelandic language and literature. For eighteen years she has worked in the British book industry, as a publisher of science fiction and fantasy, and as worldwide editor for the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. After working with Peter Jackson's production of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, she wrote The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Visual Companion, and The Two Towers Visual Companion.
