In the 1980s Ronald Harwood's 'The Dresser' was a critical and popular success in the West End, on Broadway and in the cinema. This second volume of his work contains some of his earlier plays: 'The Guests' (1972), 'After The Lions'(1983), 'The Ordeal of Gilbert Pinfold '(1983) and 'Tramway Road' (1984), as well as 'Poison Pen' ( Manchester Royal Exchange, 1993 ). Also included is 'Taking Sides', which premiered in 1995 and was directed by Harold Pinter.
