Dr. Mark Porter is a pastor and chemical engineer. He was educated at MIT with an M.S. and PhD in chemical engineering. For eighteen years, he worked in the chemical engineering field. In 1988 he was the founding pastor of the Valley Bible Church in Pleasanton, California where he continues to minister. He is the author of the book on time management, The Time of Your Life. He has magazine articles published wrote a bi-weekly newspaper column for seven years. Mark and his wife of forty-three years, Carol, reside in Pleasanton, California.
