Diane Kholos Wysocki grew up in Denver, CO and spent 8 years working as a surgical technician before starting college. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in sociology at Arizona State University and her MA and Ph.D. in sociology at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
