Reading at University: A Guide for Students

This is a superb book. I found it user-friendly, and a joy to read. It covered so much that undergraduate students need to know about reading effectively and about other associated activities like note-taking; yet at the same time, it had useful thoughts and ideas to offer this grizzled old veteran of a reading studentNot many textbooks can claim to be of interest and relevance to novice, to moderately experienced and to experienced readers. Thisis one such example of a text with universal appeal. My advice to you who read and claim to be students, would be to buy it, to think about its messageto use it, and toreturn to it in the future, when your reading skills may again be in need of recharging.
