During the mid-fifties, five young sailors, stationed at Pensacola, Fla. aboard the U.S.S. aircraft Carrier Saipan would carpool to their homes every weekend. They liked to call themselves 'The Fabulous Five'. Steve was the first to get home to Atlanta as the others continued on.
