George J. Gordon is professor of political science at Illinois State University at Normal and is active in political and civic affairs. He served as a Democratic presidential elector from the state of Illinois in 1992 and was elected to the McLean County Board in 1996. He also served as section head of the Public Administration Section at the 1997 Convention of the Midwest Political Science Association.
