Loretta Pyles, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Social Welfare at the University at Albany, State University of New York and Director of the Community and Public Service Program. She has a background in advocacy, organizing, and community-based research, including extensive work on economic justice, violence against women, and post-disaster community development.
