Dr. Abdus Satter is a research consultant with Texaco Inc. at the E&P Technology Center in Houston, TX. He has three decades of international, diversified experience in reservoir engineering, reservoir simulator development and applications, waterflooding, enhanced recovery techniques, reservoir studies, and operation. He has authored many technical papers and patents. He developed and teaches an SPE course, "Integrated Reservoir Management," and teaches his company courses in reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, computer-assisted reservoir engineering, waterflooding, and chemical flooding for domestic and foreign operations.
