William Logan is UNESCO Professor of Heritage and Urbanism and Director, Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific, Deakin University, Melbourne. His research interests include world heritage, Asian heritage, and heritage and human rights. His recent publications include: Hanoi: Biography of a City (2000), The Disappearing Asian City (2003) and Vientiane: Transformation of a Lao Landscape (2007, co-author). Keir Reeves is a Monash Research Fellow at Monash University.
