It happened one day while he was out buying books for his then seven-year old niece, Marissa. He was completely awestruck by the beautiful array of picture books and knew right then and there that was what he was meant to do!After joining fine organizations such as The Children's Literature Connection and The Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators, attending countless conferences and workshops, and building a portfolio filled with art geared toward the children's market, he headed to Manhattan.
