Margriet Ruurs has lived in many places such as California, Oregon, Alberta, Yukon and British Columbia. During her time on the west coast, Margriet fell in love with the ocean and it became the inspiration for A Pacific Alphabet.Margriet's accomplishments include Storytellers World Honour Title and shortlisting for the Mr. Christie Award. Her books, A Mountain Alphabet and the Emma series, are Canadian bestsellers.With a Master's Degree in Education, she teaches writing programs in schools and speaks at conferences to parents, teachers and librarians. Today, she is always writing poetry and rhymes for children. She lives in the Okanagan Valley where she enjoys the outdoors - hiking and gardening.Dianna Bonder was born and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia. She always wanted to become an artist and felt she was naturally drawn towards illustrating and painting. She lives in Maple Ridge, B.C. with her husband Lee, two dogs and three cats.
