P Is for Palmetto A South Carolina Alphabet

Lecturer and book reviewer Carol Crane is widely recognized by many schools and educators for her expertise in children's literature. She has conducted in-service seminars for teachers at schools across the country. Eight years ago Carol instituted a summer reading program for teachers and media specialists. P is for Palmetto is Carol's latest book with Sleeping Bear Press. She travels extensively speaking at state reading conventions across the United States and lives in Michigan, Florida and North Carolina. Mary Whyte has earned national recognition as both an artist and illustrator, exhibiting in such prestigious shows as the American Watercolor Society and the Allied Artists of America. Perhaps best known for her distinctive portraits. She is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA and conducts painting workshops across the country.
