Oswald, an American Osprey

Oswald, a young osprey, files across the Gulf of Mexico from Belize to the southwest coast of Florida looking for his birthplace on Sanibel Island. There, he discovers romance and home-building. Alas, the nest he and his mate, Becky, build on a power pole explodes causing a power outage on the island. Oswald rises above disaster to start again, raise chicks, and provide for the family with his fishing skills. All the fishing birds -- herons and pelicans -- make way for Oswald as he fiercely defends his waters.
