Michael Abbey Michael S. Abbey is a seasoned writer in the Oracle Press series, this being his tenth work. Michael is past director of conferences for the IOUG-Americas, orchestrating the delivery of its successful user-driven event IOUG-A Live! from 1997 until 2000. He has presented at conferences in Europe and North America, and is a member of the faculty for the IOUG-A's University Master Class series. Michael has been working exclusively with Oracle's technology since the 1980s, having experienced the product all the way from desktop to large mainframes. He is currently the lead DBA for the Pythian Group's dbaSource initiative, delivering off-site services to clients in North America and Europe. Michael can be reached at masii@ottawa.com. Ian Abramson Ian Abramson is based in Toronto, Ontario, in the position of CTO of Data Warehousing for Cognicase Inc., Toronto. He has over 15 years of IT and Oracle experience, focusing in all areas of the IT life cycle. His Oracle skills include design, development, and administration, having served in almost every capacity on numerous Oracle projects. Ian is also director of education for the International Oracle Users Group (IOUG), where he is a regular instructor of Oracle and data warehousing topics. Michael Corey Michael Corey is the founder and chief executive officer of Ntirety (www.ntirety.com).
