On Solid Ground : Strategies for Teaching Reading K-3

Sharon Taberski is the author of two popular Heinemann titles: the video series A Close-Up Look at Teaching Reading: Focusing on Children and Our Goals (re-released on DVD in 2008) and On Solid Ground: Strategies for Teaching Reading K - 3 (2000). Her latest offering is the DVD set It's All About Comprehension (2009), and she is currently writing its forthcoming companion book, tentatively titled Comprehension from the Ground Up - a guide to comprehension instruction in the elementary grades.Sharon is a nationally recognized educator, author, and presenter.
