SUMMARY

From the hilltop, a dense white cloud of fog seemed to spring from the rocks and rush over the fleeing orcs. So dense was the vapor, the monsters crashed into one another, unable to see. Then an eerie singing came toward them from the hilltop. Suddenly, the small bushes and trees near them seemed to clutch at the orcs. Some were strangled by strangely supple tree branches and others were entangled by bushes that grew and engulfed them. Then a single tall man clad in forest green flew among them hacking and slashing with a green glowing sword. The ghostly apparition of the singer appeared from the mist and strolled down the hillside toward them. Thoroughly terrified, many of the orcs dropped their weapons and fell to the ground, pleading for mercy in their barking, hoarse language. Others tried doggedly to reach the flashing green clad man but the tree branches and bushes dragged them down.A story of high adventure and flashing swordplay set against the background of magic and mystery of the Dragons! The continuing exploits of Hawkwind the Bard and his companions.Pennington, Granvil is the author of 'Of Bards and Dragons' with ISBN 9780595667970 and ISBN 059566797X.
