Professor Robert J. Bunker is a counter-terrorism and less-than-lethal weapons consultant to the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center-West. He is also an Adjunct Professor, National Security Studies program, California State University, San Bernardino and past Fellow, Institute of Land Warfare, Association of the United States Army. He holds a PhD in politcal science from the Claremont Graduate University, California, and has counter-terrorism operational planning experience. His research focus is on non-state threats, emerging forms of warfare, advanced weaponry and CONOPS (concepts of operations), and counter-OPFOR (opposition forces) strategies. Dr Bunker has written over 100 works and essays for policy, military, and law enforcement publications including Parameters, Terrorism and Political Violence, Special Warfare, and The Tactical Edge. He is the editor and author of a series of booklets for law enforcement use, and has spoken on his research throughout the US and overseas.
