Since 1995, she has studied for a PhD and taught at the School of Law, University of Birmingham Heather Hamill was awarded her DPhil in 2001. She is currently a Research Officer in the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford Carolyn Hoyle is a Lecturer in Criminology at the Centre for Criminological Research and a Fellow of Green College at the University of Oxford Paul Rock is Professor of Social Institutions at the London School of Economics. He was educated at the London School of Economics and Nuffield College, Oxford. He is the author of a number of books and articles focused on the development of policies for victims of crime in Canada and the United Kingdom Andrew Sanders is Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Manchester. His research has covered aspects of prosecutions and police powers, as well as the involvement of victims in the criminal justice system Richard Young is a Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Assistant Director of the Centre for Criminological Research at the University of Oxford Jo Winter is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Manchester, having recently completed a PhD at Bristol University.
