Bob Harrison has appeared on CBS Evening News to discuss his role as one of the growing number of black members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He also participates in Civil War reenactments as a first sergeant with the Thirty-seventh Texas Cavalry. A native of Pennsylvania, Harrison is a branch library director with the Norfolk, Virginia, public-library system.
