In her first 16 years, Carly Heyman has already received many honors recognizing both her high academic achievements and her spirit of community involvement. Among them, the Karen Berry Award (most outstanding sophomore), the National Honors Spanish Merit Award, and is a member of the National Honors Society. Carly was nominated for the Princeton University Woodrow Wilson Community Service Award, and is the President of the Interact Club. Excelling in fast-pitch softball and tennis, this talented athlete has been honored with the MVP, Highest Academic Achievement, and Coaches Corner Awards. Selected by faculty at Woodward Academy to serve as a Peer Leader, Carly regularly mentors freshmen students to help acclimate them to high school. With a passion for learning Spanish, Japanese, and Hebrew, Carly wishes to study abroad as a student at the University of Georgia. Her favorite accomplishments, however, involve her work as a Sibling Advocate and Speaker for the Fragile X Association of Georgia.
