My Dad, the Preacher

REVIVAL was the cry when Rev. C. S. Dayhoff and his family came to St. Marys, WV. This pleasant, talented fellow, full of energy and anointed by God, preached the strong Pentecostal message of salvation. This book includes family history, fun stories of church and family life, and focuses much on the personality of Chester Dayhoff. Without his determination and perserverence, the Apostolic Faith Church would never have existed. Now known as the North Pleasants Apostolic Tabernacle, the church is presently located two miles north of St. Marys. The purpose of this book is to preserve church history and to introduce our present membership to their church founders. This is not a book of boring dates and dull activites, but one of inspiring stories of God-answered prayers and of life in a wonderful small town.
