Moonshine Memories

Thomas R. Allison grew up near Montgomery, Alabama, in the rural Cecil community. He graduated from Huntingdon College and did graduate work at Tulane University. Later he obtained a degree from Jones School of Law. He taught school briefly in Talladega, Alabama, and in 1955 became a U.S. Treasury Agent. He resigned from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms in 1979 to become an Alabama Assistant Attorney General.
