Tim Bewer Though he was born next door in the land of cheese, Tim Bewer's Minnesota roots run deep. After emigrating to the United States from Wales at the start of the 20th century, his greatgrandfather moved into a Minneapolis boardinghouse where he eventually married the Norwegian owner's daughter. They later ended up on a Wisconsin farm. Bewer gave up a career as a legislative assistant to become a writer and photographer and has since covered topics ranging from autism to punk rock, but focuses on his first love- travel. He has written, updated, and edited books on Wisconsin, New York, Ecuador, and EI Salvador and his work has also appeared in newspapers and magazines in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain. Someday, if he can ever find the time, he will finish his novel. He has lived most of his life in Minnesota and Wisconsin and even after travels to over half of the states and even more countries, he still considers the Upper Midwest to be the most beautiful place on earth. He spends most of his free time hiking, canoeing, juggling, searching for the perfect burrito, or just loafing around Lake of the Isles. Though he lives in Minneapolis, his itchy feet take him Up North or overseas as often as possible. He can be reached directly at moonminnesota@yahoo.com.Bewer, Tim is the author of 'Moon Handbooks Minnesota' with ISBN 9781566914826 and ISBN 1566914825.
